How the days unfold.
- Day 1
Arusha → Tarangire
Pick-up in Arusha, drive to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among elephant herds and baobab trees. Overnight at a tented camp inside the park boundary.
- Day 2
Tarangire → Lake Manyara
Morning game drive in Tarangire, then transfer to Lake Manyara. Afternoon drive through ground-water forest looking for tree-climbing lions and flamingos.
- Day 3
Manyara → Ngorongoro
Drive up to the crater rim with views over the caldera. Optional cultural visit to a Maasai boma. Overnight at a rim lodge.
- Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
Full-day descent into the crater — Big Five territory in a single bowl. Picnic lunch by Lake Magadi. Return to the rim for the night.
- Day 5
Return to Arusha
Morning at the lodge, then road transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
